Thresholds of Dissolution: Modernist Architecture and the Temporality of Decay

The modernist holiday houses of São Pedro de Moel were never meant to decay so soon. An examination of premature decay as revelation, where buildings designed as permanent coordinates in time reveal the inherent vulnerability of modernist ideals when disconnected from the social practices that sustained them.
